As part of TAHE’s commitment to supporting regional development, we’re funding a masterplan to re-imagine rail infrastructure for new housing and precinct building opportunities, with sites including Broadmeadow and Glendale in Newcastle.
By guiding the development of a vision for these regional sites, TAHE will be able to work collaboratively with regional councils, the Department of Planning and Environment, and other commercial partners, to drive new investment opportunities in regional NSW, delivering new jobs and new homes, including a diverse and affordable housing component.
The master planning activities will become a benchmark for future urban developments on underutilised property, enabling TAHE to deliver on its vision to unlock the potential of its rail holdings.
